The Spatial and Temporal Evolution of Ecological Environment Quality in Karst Ecologically Fragile Areas Driven by Poverty Alleviation Resettlement

Many scholars are skeptical about the poverty reduction effect and ecological of alleviation resettlement (PAR). This study evaluates spatial temporal evolution environment quality (EEQ) to analyze effectiveness restoration from PAR. Based on cloud computing using Google Earth Engine platform, remote-sensing data were obtained reconstructed 2000 2020. The index (RSEI) was used EEQ. results show that RSEI area increased by 13.07% after implementation PAR, rate increase higher than in period before PAR; Pu’an Qinglong areas improved most obviously, terms fragile prominent contradiction between peasants land. residual trends method indicated contribution improvement due PAR 70.56%, 88.38%, 82.96% 2017, 2018, 2020, respectively.
